World Maritime Conference 2019 (WMC-2019)
★ Social Events

Attendees of this conference will have the opportunity to enjoy an exciting social program including: the Opening Ceremony, Welcome Reception, and Optional Tours around China. A complete description of the social program for the congress will be available shortly.

Opening Ceremony
The opening ceremony will be held at 9:00 am, October 20 2019. Totally 500+ participants will attend the ceremony. Governmental Officers, Leading Scientists, Industrial Leaders will deliver a speech at the opening ceremony and keynote forum.

Welcome Banquet and Performance
Welcome Banquet is the most symbolic social event of this year’s conference. It is our expectation that all the friends present here get to know more about China including the aspects of economic, science and technology, education, culture and so on. Thus the dishes with ethnic and China characteristics are prepared. The attendees from all over the world could talk with each other, exchange ideas, get well with others, learn from their failures and look forward to the future in such a relax and warm environment.
The Welcome Banquet and Performance are included with full registration.

Post-conference tours
It aims to help participants to explore more about the city where the conference is held. One can not only bring home with inspiring ideas but also beautiful memories of sightseeing spots.

Talent Network
It creates a connection between overseas returnees and domestic enterprises. On one hand, the overseas returnees can search potential academic exchange with Chinese colleges and universities, business cooperation with Chinese companies, and entrepreneurial opportunity to start their own business in China. On the other hand, domestic enterprises can seek the right talents for their projects.

Project Matchmaking
It provides an effective and efficient platform for international participants to network with delegates from local research institutes, industrial decision makers, organizational leaders, and government officials. Through this kind of constructive one-to-one discussion and negotiation, the potential collaboration of commercial and technological transfer can be bridged between foreign experts and Chinese professionals.
